Spent a delicious day photographing chef Gavin Kaysen making his grandmother's pot roast recipe for the New York Times Food section. Just in time before spring hits. I went home and made this the next night. I recommend you do the same.

These are deep, intense days out on the street, watching emotions flow and history unfold. Trying to do my best to document and tell some part of the story.
